Subpixel scaling feature "Xscale"
Binning is possible in any size, such as rectangles. This is a standard feature of the area scan camera "Go-X series."
"Xscale" is a feature that allows binning at any pixel size. Instead of using a single pixel unit, it combines the entire pixel with a part of it, enabling flexible adjustments to desired sensitivity, resolution, S/N ratio, and more. It is useful when rectangular pixels are needed to match older camera formats or when wanting to align with an asymmetric binning configuration. Since adjustments can be made within the camera, it allows for the replacement with a new camera without changing the resolution or field of view of existing systems. 【Features】 ■ Standard equipment on JAI "Go-X series" cameras equipped with Sony Pregius S CMOS sensors ■ Uses different scaling factors in horizontal and vertical directions ■ The ROI function allows matching pixel size, resolution, and FOV with existing cameras ■ Scaling can be applied to monochrome, Bayer, and RGB pixel formats.
